David joined Right To Play in 2008 initially as Director of Field Operations and continued through a variety of roles in the program team culminating in interim VP of Programs in 2014. He then moved onto a VP Strategy and Planning role for a number of years, focused on preparing the strategic and annual operating plans and budgets. Most recently David has moved to the executive finance function becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2022. David has a BA and an MBA from the University of Toronto and became a Certified Professional Accountant in preparation for the CFO role. Prior to joining Right To Play, David had a number of international development experiences with other agencies, including long term work postings in Central America and the South Pacific. David is married to Hilary, a paediatrician, and they have two children and live in Toronto. In his spare time, he plays squash and tennis, runs, skis, hikes and bikes and plays guitar
