Rob Pulford, Chair

Partner, Goldman Sachs, Financial and Strategic Investors Group

Rob is head of the Financial and Strategic Investors Group (FSIG) in the Americas. Previously, Rob was head of both the EMEA Cross Markets Group, the firm's dedicated middle market investment banking team, and FSIG in EMEA, where he managed the firm’s relationships with private equity, pension fund, sovereign wealth fund and family office clients and their portfolio companies. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2007 on the leveraged finance team and was named partner in 2014.

Prior to joining the firm, Rob worked at Merrill Lynch for nine years, where he was a member of both the leveraged finance and financial sponsor coverage teams. Rob serves on the Development Committee for Impetus, a London-based NGO that works to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people.
