On October 24, 2023, Right To Play will host our annual Gala, an exciting, must-see evening of impact, inspiration, and hope!

We bring together leaders in business, sports, and entertainment to honor outstanding heroes doing extraordinary work to help children rise above adversity.

This is our signature fundraising gala, supporting our continued work protecting, educating, and empowering 2.78 million children in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and North America through the power of play!

Champion For Children Awardee, Gaby Abdelnour

We are pleased to announce that Gaby Abdelnour will receive the Champion for Children Award in recognition of completing his tenure as a member of RTP’s International Board of Directors. Gaby served as the Chair and CEO of J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific, as well as having worked in an advisory role with: Bain Capital, Standard Life Insurance, Labara Group, BB Energy, and Monolith Brands Group. We thank Gaby for his ongoing passion for the work of Right To Play!

We will also be celebrating the power of play alongside Olympian, advocate, and entrepreneur, Allyson Felix, who has been an integral part of Right To Play for more than 14 years!

Kaylyn Kyle is a longtime supporter of Right To Play, and this year's Gala host! She is an Olympic medalist with the Canadian National Soccer Team, and a former US midfielder for the National Women's Soccer League. She is now the current host of Season Pass with Major League Soccer on Apple TV.

Right To Play is thrilled to have the Asase Yaa Youth Ensemble perform at our Annual Gala! They are a collective of young, talented, inspired artists that are being trained in many forms of dance and music. The youth perform and promote African culture throughout the city and Tri-State area. Asase Yaa Youth Ensemble bears the fruit of Asase Yaa African American Dance Theater and Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation.
